How Stump Grinding Works

Locate and Clear
We walk the site, check for buried lines and irrigation and clear rocks and debris from around the stump.

Grind Below Grade
The grinder takes the stump and the large surface roots down below ground level.

Fill and Clean Up
Wood chips fill the hole. We can leave them or haul them away and leave the area ready for topsoil, seed or sod.

Before You Call
Tell us if there is irrigation, an invisible dog fence or a buried line near the stump. Mark them if you can. If the stump is close to a foundation, patio or septic area, we will point it out in the estimate and talk through options.
